National Historic Recognition & Plaque instillation
On November 4, 2017 Calvary Church Burnt Hills was placed on the Federal Register of National Historic Places.. Calvary is the first church in the town of Ballston to receive this recognition.
The research and application for this award was done by Dick Downs (member) being helped by Bill Krattinger (NYS Parks & Historic Recognition) and Rick Reynolds (town historian).
The ceremony was attended by many local and state dignitaries such as Congressman Paul Tonko, State Senator Jim Tedisco, as well as Mary Beth Walsh (local State Assembly)
